Last week, masked rescuers toppled fencing and released dozens of foxes from cages at the Schmuecker Fox Farm in Luzerne, Iowa.

This is the ninth fur farm raid in the U.S. in the past two years. Over 25,000 wild mink and foxes have been liberated into their natural environment. Three more farms have been sabotaged.

In an anonymous communique, the liberators wrote:

"June 20th

All cages were opened, all breeding cards were scattered or destroyed, and perimeter fences were leveled at Schmuecker Fox Farm in Luzerne, Iowa. Anyone can do this, and the summer has just begun."
