A Mink Farm Is Demolished

A mink farm is demolished and cleared in Preston, ID.

Preston was once a nerve center of the U.S. fur industry. The once thriving fur industry has been decimated by Animal Liberation Front raids, economic downturns, and nearly every major designer being pressured into capitulation by anti-fur activists.

In Preston, the Hobbs family of mink murderers are still active. Jill Hobbs is on the board of Fur Commission USA. Her son Challis has a side hustle as President of Fur Commission USA, when he's not selling cookies at a Dirty Dough location.

Mink farmer and registered sex offender Wyn Kay Doney also calls Preston home.

Dozens of fur farm closures have been documented in recent years. Pennsylvania is now home to only one fur farm. Oregon has only four fur farms. Decayed sheds and abandoned properties have been documented in Iowa, Utah, Minnesota, and other states.

With pelt prices at only $29 and an unprecedented level of ALF raids, every fur farmer in this country should be planning for retirement.
